Lin Chi-ling's ad banned in China

Taiwanese top model Lin Chi-ling recently shot a mobile phone advertisement for a top Chinese company for endorsement fee of reportedly nearly 10 million dollars. However, the commercial was banned by Chinese authorities as the wordings used in the commercial went against Chinese advertisement regulations. According to media reports, Lin Chi-ling helped China's Changhong Group endorse a certain series of luxury mobile phones. The cover of this particular brand of mobile phone is made with 23K gold and laid with eleven diamonds from South Africa. Shortly after this commercial was aired in China, the Chinese authorities released a list of commercial that violated Chinese regulations and Lin Chi-ling's commercial was forced to be taken down. In response to this, Lin Chi-ling's agent said that if the company wishes to make amendments to the commercial to comply with Chinese regulations, Lin Chi-ling is willing to cooperate. Though her career is not taking up in China, but back
