When her good friend, host Kevin Tsai was asked if he knew Chi-ling and her former lover Jerry had reconciled with each other, the host expressed that he had no idea. "Time will change a person. If you were in love before, after a few years, you'd still care for the other party. Maybe this person will give her a different feeling [now]," Kevin said. The host recently penned the lyrics to the theme song for Chi-ling's new movie Love on Credit. "You taught me so much, [I] realise how wrong I was then; [you] taught me to trust and gave me a shoulder to lean on; [you] taught me to be firm in my quirky fantasies," the lyrics went. "I feel that when two people break up, it isn't necessarily a bad thing, it might be because the timing was not right. "But people change as time goes by their attitudes may change. How they [former lovers] continue on together depends on whether they can understand each other's past mistakes and start over," said Lin. The "Red Cliff" star's words have sparke

The Taiwanese model confessed that she has someone she likes It looks like all is not over between Taiwanese model Lin Chi-ling and actor Jerry Yan. In Chi-ling's latest movie Love on Credit, the model-turned-actress portrayed two different characters perfectly. In the show, her character was torn between the two male leads. In real life, Chi-ling's relationships with actor Jerry Yan and businessman Qiu Shikai have been the focus of media attention. When asked about her relationship with the two men, Chi-ling laughed, "This question had been asked so many times before, I'm sure no one wants to hear about it anymore." Out of the blue, the actress, who never discussed her love life publicly, said, "There is someone I like already." However, Chi-ling kept tight-lipped, when the reporters probed the guy's identity, because she was worried that "[the media] might blow it out of proportion." She also emphasised that she had no plan

With a smooth-sailing career, all seems quiet in her romantic life except for the rumours on her romantic involvement with businessman Scott Qiu and actor Jerry Yan. At 10am yesterday, Chi-Ling was spotted doing a commercial shoot in front of Miramar Garden Taipei. This shoot is said to be for a China real estate commercial, with an estimated payout of more than NT$ 1million (S$42,540). She will be performing alongside Akira -- from Japanese boyband EXILE -- who will be playing Eastern Wu commander Zhou Yu. The gala evening paves way to fame for many ordinary actors across the country and makes some phrases popular. With the development of the annual evening, the advertising revenue increases year by year. However, audience rating of the gala evening declines due to more and more critical taste of audience. For people living in southern part of the country, the gala evening having relatively more northern features does not meet their demands commendably. One should make plans," said Chi-ling's mother when asked if the Qiu family were pressing for marriage. On Chi-ling's ex-boyfriend Jerry Yan, who cried when speaking of Chi-ling, the model's mother hoped that he would stop creating news fodder
