Full Version of the Translation: Please go HERE http://z2.invisionfree.com/la_creme_d_asie [you must be a member to read the article] Extracted LZL parts only: The press asked if Lin Zhi Ling felt it was regretful that she could not play wife to CYF and about how few lines she has. She said she doesn’t mind the amount of dialog or not. The director chooses me and so I would do my best. (As for the height difference) At the beginning, I was asked which actor I would like to be my onscreen husband but as Tony said, we are in passive mode as actors. I don’t mind who I am paired with nor do I mind the height. In my eyes, the air and style of the man is more important than his height. (The press applauded realizing again the wittiness of Lin Zhiling and Tony smiled at the response. ) (Neat response!!!) Tony said, Different pairing would have different chemistry. It really is very variable. Permission to repost this article is granted only if this article is accompanied with this message, th...

No Red Cliff for Chow Yun-Fat

No Red Cliff for Chow Yun-Fat Source: MonkeyPeaches.com, Sina.com April 16, 2007 Monkey Peaches reports that Chow Yun-Fat has dropped out of director John Woo's The Battle of Red Cliff, to which Ken Watanabe and Taiwanese supermodel Lin Chi-Ling are still attached. According to a statement Chow Yun-Fat sent to Sina.com, Chow resigned from John Woo's The Battle of Red Cliff last Friday not because of some unrealistic demands from him. Chow received the screenplay just one week before and the production had already begun. This gave him very little time to prepare for his role as he had to deliver his lines in Mandarin. Chow said he had agreed to take a pay cut for playing his role. Based on the classic Chinese novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms," the film is set in the final days of the Han Dynasty in the year 208 and covers the war that established the Three Kingdoms period, when China had three rulers. source: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=19914

Article: April 14, 2007 Source: http://ent.sina.com.cn/m/c/2007-04-14/15191519276.html At the film opening ceremony, only one main character showed up with 13 others who are not very well known. The first scene was about Cao Cao and he was all wrapped up except his head gear. 50 extras were given guidelines as to how to bow and greet officials. John Woo said that it has been his dream for the last 16 years to make this movie. It was rumored before that the role of Cao Cao was a breaktrhough and Cao Cao for once is not sly but a just minded hero with a world view. Zhang Jia Zhun denied this rumor and said that no matter which country the cast come from, John Woo would make them multi dimensional and not just on Cao Cao. "As to whether Cao Cao is a breakthrough, actually there is not a simple good or bad judgement. This is like most of John Woo's previous movies, the characters are not one dimensional. There bound to be overlap of good and bad in the character. Besides it is a p...

The first part is just introducing her , her beauty etc. Apologies for taking so long. But this poor girl really holds down all qualms. Cosmopolitan April 2007 How do you view yourself? If you say I am just a vase, thank you for praising. That is an acknowledgement of my exterior looks. Your voice is too sweet. Then I’ll change it. Give me some time. You are lucky. Others happen to look me up. In time people would recognize me. Is it tough to always smile? No. That is my personality originally. It is more loveable for girls to be gentle. I speak slowly and it is easier to be understood. I have to communicate with others while working. It is better to be lively and open. This industry slowly changes me from my shyness. If there is chance to be another Lin Zhi Ling, how would she be? Acutally I like my present looks. If pos...
