The Taiwanese model confessed that she has someone she likes It looks like all is not over between Taiwanese model Lin Chi-ling and actor Jerry Yan. In Chi-ling's latest movie Love on Credit, the model-turned-actress portrayed two different characters perfectly. In the show, her character was torn between the two male leads. In real life, Chi-ling's relationships with actor Jerry Yan and businessman Qiu Shikai have been the focus of media attention. When asked about her relationship with the two men, Chi-ling laughed, "This question had been asked so many times before, I'm sure no one wants to hear about it anymore." Out of the blue, the actress, who never discussed her love life publicly, said, "There is someone I like already." However, Chi-ling kept tight-lipped, when the reporters probed the guy's identity, because she was worried that "[the media] might blow it out of proportion." The first Spring Festival Gala Evening of CCTV was held in 1983. Enjoying the family reunion dinner on Lunar New Year's Eve and watching the annual Spring Festival Gala Evening of CCTV have become a convention for Chinese people. The gala evening paves way to fame for many ordinary actors across the country and makes some phrases popular. With the development of the annual evening, the advertising revenue increases year by year. However, audience rating of the gala evening declines due to more and more critical taste of audience. For people living in southern part of the country, the gala evening having relatively more northern features does not meet their demands commendably. Some southern TV stations plans to broadcast their own programs rather than rebroadcasting the Spring Festival Gala Eveni...

Lin Chi-ling looking for love. Any offers Jerry Yan?

Supermodel Lin Chi-ling (林志玲) is open to offers. She told reporters at a commercial event in Taichung on Thursday that all she wants for Christmas is a boyfriend. This suggests that her proposed marriage to toilet maker Scott Qiu (邱士楷) is off and the heir to the HCG Corporation (和成集團) is no longer her lover. The timing of Chi-ling’s statement is interesting because the 36-year-old belle’s ex, actor Jerry Yan (言承旭), has publicly declared he still has feelings for her. He has blamed himself for their breakup on various occasions and on a recent variety show was in tears when talking about her. Reporters on Thursday showed Chi-ling the video clip of Jerry breaking down on the show, and the model’s reaction was wide-eyed. She commented that Jerry has both “sense and sensibility” and added the pair were still communicating by SMS. Source: QQ.com Categories: News Star-Wiki: Taichung: Dec 24 2010

She'll pursue her dream man

Fri, Nov 19, 2010 The New Paper She'll pursue her dream man by Tan Kee Yun TWENTY days is definitely not too short a period to fall head over heels in love with someone and accept his hand in marriage. At least, that scenario seemed totally plausible for Taiwanese model-actress Lin Chi-Ling, star of wuxia epic Red Cliff and the Indiana Jones-inspired actioner The Treasure Hunter. The 35-year-old beauty was in town last Friday to grace the official opening of Swiss luxury watch brand Longines' swanky new boutique at Marina Bay Sands. While on the topic of her good pal and fellow Taiwanese artiste Barbie Hsu's whirlwind engagement to wealthy restaurant heir Wang Xiaofei, Lin showed unequivocal support. "I think she is a very courageous girl," Lin told The New Paper. "When I learnt she was going to get married, I congratulated her and told her jokingly, 'Now, you're starting to give us (referring to herself and other single friends) a lot...
