Taiwan tax authorities previously found that the supermodel, who makes about NT$70 million (S$2.9 million) annually, had paid NT$6.84 million less tax than she was supposed to between 2003 and 2005. Lin had argued that her income should be seen as "Professional Practice Income" and that a portion of her costs can be deducted before tax is levied on the remainder.
