Lin Chi-ling touched by Jerry's song

7 Jan – Taiwanese actress Lin Chiling recently talked about Jerry Yan's alleged special dedication to her during his guest performance at a Mayday's concert. Acoording to Asianpopnews, at an airlines public event, the Taiwanese model was asked if she was aware that Jerry broke into tears upon singing the song. Lin Chiling answered, "Yes, it is very sweet. But I am not sure who he is singing for." When asked how she would feel if Jerry sang the song for her, Chi-ling said, "I will be very touched." When asked if Jerry was an important person to her, Lin lowered her head and replied, "He is very important." Top model Lin Chi-ling teams up with tourism bureau to promote Taiwan

Taipei, Dec. 23 (CNA) Model and actress Lin Chi-ling was named a goodwill ambassador for Taiwan's Tourism Bureau on Monday in the hopes of boosting the number of tourists from Japan, where the popular actress enjoys a fan following. Sporting a purple sleeveless dress, Lin unveiled a 15-second commercial along with bureau officials and talked up tourist attractions ranging from the Taipei 101 skyscraper and the National Palace Museum to scenic spots like Sun Moon Lake and Alishan. Ekin Cheng and Lin Chi-ling named Worst Actors

2 Jul – Hong Kong actor Ekin Cheng and Taiwanese model-actress Lin Chi-ling have recently been named the Worst Actor and Actress of the first half of 2013, according to Yes Entertainment. A Mainland China site recently conducted a survey for the 10 worst Chinese films of the first half of the year. Movies that were listed include Julian Cheung's "Natural Born Lovers", Michelle Chen's "Badges Of Fury", and Ko Chen-Tung's "Tiny Times". An unexpected entry in the list was Wong Kar-wai's "The Grandmaster", which came in fifth, while the most unsurprising winner of the Worst Film was Andy Lau's "Switch", with many claimed to make no sense, what with the absurd action sequences. Lin Chi-ling, who had high hopes for "Switch" as her shot to fame, received almost 2000 votes in favour of her as the Worst Actress, with comments saying that even her beauty was not able to save the bad movies she participated in
