Love Asia DVD
InnoForm Media just released a DVD set from a TV special (first screened on Star World three months ago) titled 'Love Asia', featuring some of Asia's top Supermodels including Hollywood based Hong Kong actress Maggie Q, Taiwan beauty Lin Chiling, and Japanese model Mayuko Kawamata. The guy who's moderating the video gets annoying pretty quick, but watching Lin Chiling and Mayuko make you forget about any background noise in next no time!
The DVD was actually made in early 2004 just before Lin Chiling entererd the world of superstardom, but for some reason the release was delayed almost 3 years. The cost of making Love Asia, according to Peter Poon, General Manager of the disc's producer Fortune Star, was about US$ 500,000. Other models featuring on the discs are Chinese supermodel Queenie Zhou Qiao, Singapore born Indonesian model Jacqueline Alblas, Korean model Lee Ka Hye, Indian model Aysha Bashir, Hong Kong Model Almen Wong, Thai model Yossavadee Hassadeevichit, and Philippine model Grace Tagle.
Filmed by New York-based Singaporean photographer Leslie Kee, Love Asia was set in Malaysia's tropics, with backdrops of the Kuala Lumpur Petronas Twin Towers and gorgeous beaches of Langkawi Island. Below is a TV report about Taiwan supermodel Lin Chiling on the making of the DVD. Enjoy!
