Woo almost ready to head to 'Red Cliff'

Variety are reporting that John Woo and his producer Terrance Chang are just about ready to start production on BATTLE FOR RED CLIFF.

The trade says that the two are near completing financing deals on the film's 50 million dollar budget.

'Red Cliff' is set to star Chow Yun-Fat, Tony Leung Chiu-wai and supermodel Lin Chiling.
