In this headline story, the reporter reported that a tourist might spot Jerry watching NBA basketball game with a male companion and then walking in the street with Ms. Lin in Hollywood on New Year Eve. As this reporter noticed that both of them were not in TW during New Year, he/she just assumed and created a story that Jerry stayed with Ms. Lin in LA/Hollywood for 7 days (i.e., around Dec. 30 to Jan. 7) during New Year and they have returned to TW on January 7. However, this story is quite impossible, as according to other news articles published before this, Ms. Lin flied to Goungzhou on Jan. 1 and portrayed as model for an artist there the next day for the whole day, and then she filmed the Olay commercial in TW on Jan. 6. So far, only two pieces of information have been posted to spot Jerry in LA, one is that Jerry was spotted in Santa Barbara with one male and one female friends on Dec. 28. Then he was spotted to see a movie with a male companion on Dec. 31.

according to the newsarticle, Ms Lin was missing for 7 days after her appearance at a Shanghai event in end december. she only returned to Tw on Jan. 7. its said that she was seen in the US with Jerry. the newsarticle said Jerry was spotted on 12/31 watching the NBA game in LA . the person who spotted him did not recognise Jerry from afar, thought at 1st he was a Japanese, a very handsome Japanese but on closer look, recognised that it was Jerry. the newsarticle also wrote that another person saw Jerry on 12/30 at a movie theater watching "The Curse of the Golden Flower".
(fatty2: according to Jerry's fans, there has been earlier news article of Ms Lin very busily flying in & out of Tw due to her work of hosting, cm filming & cm appearances, mostly in China & Tw, quite impossibile for her to be in the US for 7 days. i hope Jerry really got to watch the NBA game, knowing how he loves basketball).

anyway, in the news article, Ms Lin's manager said that its impossible Ms Lin is in the US as she's very busy fulfilling all her cm & works obligations b4 she starts filming her movie in 3/07.
Fenny, Jerry's asst, when asked abt Jerry & Ms Lin holidaying together in the US , said that its impossible as Jerry is hard at work on his photo album, after which he will have some activities in Japan.
