March 13, 2007—Taiwan top model and talk show presenter Chiling Lin was reported to have been engaged with a money bag, disclosed by a staff member with Harry Winston, a rare jewels of the world.
While entangled in the amorous affair with the region's richest businessman Guo Taiming, Chiling Lin was brought under limelight again this time for her betrothal to another plute surnamed Qiu.
Jiang Yirong, Chiling Lin's agent stated that the model will not get married within the coming two years. However, a piece of news was spreading in Taiwan that Lin has been to Mainland China together with Qiu to buy their betrothal rings in Harry Winston.
According to acquaintance of Qiu, the two had already been betrothed to each other at the end of last year.
Qiu's family member kept a low key to the hearsay, saying that they are not surprised if Lin decides to tie knot with Qiu.
Harry Winston is a well-known jewelry brand worldwide. The cheapest diamond in its shop is worth over 100,000 Yuan (around US$12,914, some 50 carats).
