TITLE: CHOW YIN FAT CLARIFIES HE RESIGNED BECAUSE THE SCRIPT CAME TOO LATE. FINGER POINTING AT JOHN WOO Red Cliff has again replaced another actor, Chow Yin Fat who was to play Chou Yu has been replaced most probably by Jay Chou. News had it that Chow asked for close to a hundred unreasonable demands & was thus rejected by the American company.
On the above matter, Chow denied them all. Yesterday through phone he indicated he had last Friday actively through lawyer resigned from playing the role. The reason being he feels that for such a big movie, he does not have enough time to prepare, & not because of the close to 100 demands.
He admitted he knew he needed to speak in Mandarin in Red Cliff, thus he hoped to get the script early so as to have enough time to prepare, but the script came only recently, more than a week ago.

Daniel Wu has gone on a 3-month couse in filming in America, & has turned down the offer to act.
Lin Chiling develops skin allergy during shooting of Red Cliff, this may delay the progress of filming.
