Taiwanese model gives a leg up to new massager
KUALA LUMPUR: Taiwanese supermodel Lin Chi Ling was in town yesterday to launch Osim’s new product, the uSqueez. Touted Asia’s “most beautiful legs” – as voted by fans via an online poll – Lin appears in the company’s new advertising campaign to promote the massager. Lin, whose shapely legs are reportedly 113cm long, said: “Making the commercial was a really fun experience. I had to do some spins and twirls, a bit of jumping and plenty of posing in my bare feet. I enjoyed every moment, as everyone was so caring and easy to work with.” The launch began with a show of legs, six comely pairs peeking from behind shimmering curtains. Then the music started and the legs began to swing, step and sway. Guests were left guessing as to which pair belonged to the popular TV host. Then the backdrop was slowly drawn apart to reveal a blinding glare of lights. As eyes got accustomed to the glare, a silhouette appeared. Then the spotlight found the alluring Lin, who posed for a while and shimmied a little. Making a few spins and twirls, she began to strut down the catwalk and show off her gorgeous limbs. The media darling switched effortlessly between Mandarin and English as she fielded questions from the media, proving that she was a beauty with brains. “Many people look after their complexion with top-notch facial care but tend to neglect their hardworking legs. “I feel that the health of our legs is very important. We spend so many hours a day on our feet. It is vital that we take good care of them,” she said. Admitting to being very health conscious, Lin added that she liked to exercise. “I go for walks. And for an all-over full-0help me relax,” she added.
