Lin Chi-Ling avoids talk on rumoured love interest

The model only smiled at the mention of the millionaire businessman and did not make any further comment

Despite being labeled as just another "pretty face" in showbiz, 36-year-old Lin Chi-Ling is making a slow but steady breakthrough in the international market, with endless movie deals, Japanese drama series roles, musicals, and even commercials rolling in.

With a smooth-sailing career, all seems quiet in her romantic life except for the rumours on her romantic involvement with businessman Scott Qiu and actor Jerry Yan.

At 10am yesterday, Chi-Ling was spotted doing a commercial shoot in front of Miramar Garden Taipei. This shoot is said to be for a China real estate commercial, with an estimated payout of more than NT$ 1million (S$42,540).

During the shoot, Chi-Ling managed to finish all of her scenes with a maximum of three takes each, breaking her previous image of just being a "flower vase".

When a reporter walked up to approach her during her break, Chi-Ling initially showed signs of helplessness but still smiled politely and even invited the reporter to be an extra for her commercial.

As Chi-Ling had previously told the media she will not be marrying Scott, when asked if they have already broken up, the model smiled and did not reply to the question.

The reporter then pressed on and told her that Jerry has been under a lot of stress lately and even hit the wall to vent his frustrations. When asked if she will console the actor, Chi-Ling gave a blank look and replied, "I'll talk to him when I next see him."

The model later suggested that Jerry should learn how to release his stress. She also agreed to the reporter's question when asked if she will invite Jerry to have a "stress release session" together.

Chi-Ling laughing quipped, "Let's all ease [our stress] together."

It is said that she will be flying to Milan to attend a Bottega Veneta show after completing the shoot for her real estate commercial. Slated to star alongside actor Andy Lau in the action movie Dwelling in theFuchun Mountains this October, Chi-Ling jokingly mocked, "I feel like an air hostess at the rate I'm traveling."
